The California Public Utilities Commission has just approved PG&E's plan to raise their electricity rates by 2%. Over the past 10 years, PG&E's electricity rates have doubled for the highest tiers. As a result, any PG&E customer with a monthly electrical bill greater than $150 will see their bill increase once again.

We've done it only over the past 10 years because the tiered rate system was only introduced in 2001 (so everything before that looks a bit different).
