Our Commitment to Community
Since its founding in 2004, Luminalt has been dedicated to improving the community in which we live and work by providing clean energy alternatives, employment opportunities, and sustainable economic growth. As part of our work toward this goal, Luminalt became the first workforce development certified solar company in the Bay Area in 2008 and continues to hire 60% of our installers through community based organizations.
- Luminalt management has volunteered time and training for local organizations such as Asian Neighborhood Design, San Francisco Conservation Corps, Grid Alternatives, and City College.
